Pay My Bills!

Just a good laugh for you... I received this message and I laughed my ass off!

Hello, my name is Antonio. I like your style. You look AMAZING! I sent you a note in the past but you never responded? You might not have had the time to write back? I know a lot of guys just be talking, playing and bullshitting, and your tired of it. That's why I want to show and prove. I won $2500 at the casino and when I got home I came across your profile again. Now I'm thinking, I don't know you but I'm willing to take a chance. Since I was lucky at the casino I believe that this is my chance to boss up and let this pretty woman know I'm interested in her and very serious. So I'm writing this letter to let you know I want to take you shopping or help pay some of your bills with my winnings? Please don't think I'm all about money or I'm trying to impress you with it. I got the money for free and "it's better to give than recieve", thats what the Bible says. so if I spend some of it on you I don't mind because I will just go back to the casino and loose it. And I'm not looking for a girlfriend, but If A good woman comes along I have no problem making her my wife. I'm willing to take a chance and come 100% on my part so that you will give me a chance to get to know you. If a man comes to you 100% are you willing to do the same? Also, I know it is very hard out here for a single working woman. Do you like to go out to nice places, have fun and forget about everyday problems? I do. You seem like a nice woman. Are you a nice woman? Write me back if we can talk?

Puppy Love

I have decided, after much time and pontification that the next man in my life has to be at least as excited to see me as my dog is. When I walk in the door, I want him to jump up and down, run around in circles, wag his tail back and forth, and even piddle on the floor a bit!
Now THAT is love.

Beep Beep Beep

(codes - The beeping is the sound of the conveyer belt at the grocery store. M: me; H: him)
m: Hi, this is Jennifer from Black Planet, how are you?
h: Hey, I'm good, just chillin on the couch at home today.
small talk followed.... how long have you been on line dating....what do you have going today...What do you do
m: I'm a professor
h: What is that?
m: WHAT'S A PROFESSOR? I teach college...
h: Oh, that's what I thought that meant. I thought maybe there was another meaning for the word.
beep beep beep
m: are you shopping?
h: yeah, i had to pick up a few things
beep beep beep
h: so, what do you look for in a man?
m: well, I have realized that I can't stand when a man lies to me. There is no reason for it really.
h: what do you mean by lie
beep beep beep beep
m: uh, like when he tells me something and i find out later that it wasn't true...
h: ohh,
m: are you still shopping?
h: yeah, that store didn't have what i needed, so i went to another one
m: DO YOU WORK AT THE GROCERY STORE?
h: why would you say that?
m: BECAUSE I HAVE HEARD THE BEEPING OF THE CONVEYER BELT SINCE WE STARTED TALKING.

Speed Date

Less than an hour! A first date that lasted less than an hour! A fifth grade teacher with an MA in education and he was dull as a door nob, poor kids! And he was on his phone at least five times. Actually talking and having conversations while I was sitting across from him. ARE YOU F ING KIDDING ME?! Am I being punked? Am I on TV? Why even ask me out? For those of you who look at my life and think "Ahhh, how I long to be single and dating again...." Take a look at the man or woman lying next to you in your bed tonight. Look at them and be happy that it is the same one who was there last night and will be there again tomorrow and the next day... wait a minute, this no longer sounds like a pep talk!

Double-date: And this is....

Just got a call from Brandon... who the hell is Brandon? Brandon, brandon... hmmm?...And a text asking if I use T Mobile - who the hell is that?! I don't know that number? Got asked out to dinner by ummm, what's his name...? ummm Daryl, yeah, that's it! and by David, for tonight. both, whew, I am getting too old for this!
I will admit that I have gone on two first dates in one day. That is not easy, I don't care what ya say! It is a nice way to weed out the good from the not as good right away. It's just a lot of work going through the first date stuff twice, what do you do? do you have kids? ever been married? what are you looking for? what do you like to do? is there chemistry, laughter, commonality? Will there be a second date?
I have only double-dated twice. There is a lot to finagle, balance, plan, all that. It's fun, it's exciting, it's exhausting! I do not recommend it for the weak at heart - or the over 30!
